Court of Appeal upholds Cornwall Inquiry Commissioner

On January 16, 2007, the Ontario Court of Appeal released its decision in Episcopal Corporation of the Diocese of Alexandria-Cornwall v. Cornwall Public Inquiry. A unanimous Court accepted the Commissioner’s position rejecting an application for a publication ban by the Diocese, and awarding the Commissioner costs in the amount of $10,000.
