Paul Le Vay speaks on the future of Canadian Securities Law

8aixat partner Paul Le Vay spoke on June 7, 2012 on the future of Canadian securities law, in the aftermath of the Supreme Court of Canada Reference, at the Law Society’s 2012 Six Minute Business Lawyer conference.  Paul addressed the consequences of the Court’s rejection of the proposed national securities regulator in its recent decision on a reference as to the constitutional authority of the Federal government to conduct securities regulation to the exclusion of Provincial jurisdiction.
